Meticulous, clean-cut, and moody pop form East London’s Zulu Winter. This introduces itself with a soaring falsetto over sparkling guitar chords and a playful drum jerk. The mood gradually darkens with its introduction of ominous, echoing of drums halfway through and an intensifying crescendo of windy ooooo’s with line dancing saxophones and a dramatic vocal refrain, reminding me in parts of MGMT crossed with a more ethereal and ballsy Coldplay.
